Welcome To My job finder

Thanks for viewing my job finder website.  This job finder site will serve as a tool that will allow me to keep track of job openings as they become available.  It will allow me to organize myself as I prepare for life after my training at Centriq.  Once I sign in under my administrative longin I am able to insert, edit and delete (set active to inactive) job postings, companies, contacts, and my communication with those contacts.   I could explain everything but its probably more fun for you if you just look through it and click on things, so enjoy.

the job Finder project

The job finder project is my favorite project because it is where we really got to put everything we had learned into one project.  It was also the project where we were on our own for the most part, so we really got to see what we could do.  Here are some of the features for this job finder project:

• When you select something, the gridview is hidden and only the details are displayed.
• The drop down lists on each page allow you to filter the gridview.
• The companies page has a column that allows you to go to that companies website.
• The companies page also has a column that will sort the jobs for that company on the job postings page.
• A search box that searches through the job postings page

Most of the really interesting things going on in this job finder site have to be viewed from the administrative login side.  If you would like to see all that is going on there, feel free to contact me and I'll give you the login code information.  That way you can see that I have job search links that open in another browser window so that I am easily able to copy and paste new job information into my insert command.  That was one line of code that saved a lot of time.
